Today, I am joined by Doug Greiner and Bryan Butler who share their story about the “8 Yard Bull Elk.” This 5th episode of Interrupted Outdoors will not disappoint, as these men share their hunting journey that brought them to a new adventure in the fall of 2019 when the embarked on a do-it-yourself (DIY) Colorado Elk hunt. Doug and Bryan share their successes and failures as they transitioned from East Coast Whitetail hunters, too tackling an adventure on many hunter’s bucket list. Doug and Bryan candidly share how any hunter who is willing to do the research, training, and preparation for a western, backcountry elk hunt can accomplish this worthwhile adventure.
